The Gas Station and Convenience store, Misty Petroleum, is located along highway 40, and 1.5 kilometer north of Leask Saskatchewan on reserve lands of Mistawasis Nêhiyawak. Misty Petroleum offers tax-free savings to customers who presents a valid Status Card.

Our Misty Petro Employees
Misty Petroleum was formed by Misty Ventures to create meaningful employment for the Mistawasis Nêhiyawak First Nation and surrounding community members and has continued to provide a much-needed service to the community, and highway travelers alike. Today Misty Petroleum employs 20 staff members who have been long term valuable staff that contribute everyday to the success of the business.
Carol Pechawis, as the Store Manager has shown strong leadership throughout the last nine years with her resourcefulness, versatility, and ability to mentor and motivate staff that have been part of Misty Petroleum since inception April 11, 2016.

Grant Duquette
Grant has been named Employee of the Month for December 2025. Since joining Misty Petro in August 2019, he has advanced to the position of supervisor, demonstrating remarkable versatility in fulfilling various roles and developing strong organizational skills. Congratulations to Grant on this well-deserved achievement!

Candidates are required to have a High School diploma or GED and relevant experience in operating Point of Sale systems. Applicants should demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, effective communication, and outstanding customer service skills. Reliable transportation to the workplace is essential, as is punctuality and effective time management. A professional demeanor, robust organizational skills, and a positive attitude are crucial for joining the team at Misty Petroleum. Additionally, candidates should be ready to participate in further training for specific workplace responsibilities, including food safety, Cannasell, and Greenline.

- Misty Petroleum was launched on April 16, 2016, by Misty Ventures Inc. as its first business a Gas and Convenience store.
